Warm greetings to you all!
I would like to start by sharing with you all a famous quote by John Holmes who says “There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” I cannot stress enough that our hearts should always feel for the poor and needy. I have struggled a lot during my education time and had plans to becoming a CA ( Charted Accountant) but couldn`t pursue due to financial constraints. I realized that this fact proves for many students, marginalized children who face lot of difficulties in achieving their aim due to lack of resources. I always had this pain in my heart and in due course of time I ...... encountered Christ Jesus in my life who also lived for others. The very fact of it strengthened my thought to do something for the underprivileged children. I hail from a middle class family. I was brought from Bihar to Chittaranjan by my uncle for studies. I started my search for likeminded people to form a society and use every available resources to help the poor and needy. The search started in year 2000 until December 2004 when I could find 10 people who also had the same objectives in Life. The first official meeting for forming a society was conducted on 4th December 2004. The main aim of this society was to help 1000 marginalized children from BPL (below poverty line) families by adopting them till they become self reliant. We called them Future Jewels. We also want to start an Old Age Home to help older people who are denied of shelter and care. Awadhesh Thakur

I have gained experience in understanding the most important thing that is to help the poor and needy and feel proud being associated with KNSS to perform the job.

I have 8 years of association with KNSS and the eight years were really blessed. KNSS supports educational development, the women, the needy and provide an inclusive environment for students to reach their fullest potential.
